I can not draw, paint, or create master works of art. Words are my medium. Words alone can paint and inspire worlds. My taste in movies varies. I can enjoy a good comedy, or curl up to a good romance movie. It's nice to see something get blown up to. When will the bad guys learn they'll lose when the good guys have a hulk and Tony Stark?
Favourite TV Shows
TV show are whatever I'm in the mood for. Sci Fi is ok. I like the little 30 minute shows. You know where all their problems are solved in 30 minutes. Then again most shows are like that for an hour too.
Favourite Bands / Musical Artists
I can listen to a good country tune, but then again I like the punk, goth, emo stuff too. At least that's what I think it is. Maybe it's alternative. Who knows.
Favourite Books
I actually don't like to read. I like to write but not read. Go figure. If it's something that catches my interest, then I'll read it. But it has to be good. Currently reading last of 50 Shades Of Grey series. Reading Wicked before that. Gotta finish it.

Well, as it was, I was going to watch Full Metal....something, but my DVD player has stuck stupid. Oh yeah, and it's gushing. So, that has been put on the back burner as I have somebody looking at fixing the problem. In the meantime, I am looking into watching something called A Game Of Thrones, I think it is. I caught one show of it while on vacation a couple of years ago, and recently got the chance to watch the first season on a computer. So, having said that, I think I will. Now I'm just waiting for the time. I haven't added anything to Arcadia in my journal either. I have it written, but I haven't had time to type it in.     Arcadia,

I asked tonight why was I doing this. Why am I posting this story on here? I guess in the hopes that someone will see it, like it, and let me know. Nothing wrong with putting yourself out there I guess.  I'm thinking about taking a writing class. Not for college credits, of course, but simply to better myself. I'd like to go back to college, true, to prepare myself for something better. I have no idea what. I'm 37 years old, and I'm wanting to go back to school. Rainy. The raindrops glistened on the glass in the soft glow of the candles. The room had an air about itself almost. Tense and quiet except for soft whispers here and there. Then there were sudden explosions of screams. Marie lay beneath the covers clenching them firmly between her fingers with her teeth grinding. Her breathiong labored to say the least. We also have a Critique Program for our members to submit to and receive detailed feedback on their work from our admin team. :D

 

We’re also helping to promote a program called Synergy, which is hosted by our affiliate, #Live-Love-Write. The Synergy program is designed to provide participants with somebody they can count on for help and readership. Participants are assigned in pairs and each member will tutor, inspire, critique, and help each other. Pairs will also be given a monthly challenge to collaborate together on; we keep the assignments manageable so they can be fun all the time. Signups will open back up in the beginning of October. :la:
